This Video saved my life! For 2 yrs now my A1c has been been between 4.9 and 5.3. 2 yrs ago before finding Video. My A1c then was 9.5 and i was feeling horrible.....swollen ankles, tired all the time, severe headaches at night. Now at age 59 i feel 30 yrs younger, have lost 78 lbs to date and have more energy than when i was in my 40's. Other drs did notook at healing but pushing meds. I am off ALL meds now....hbp, statins, metformin and even my thyroid med. ❤
This is my first introduction to your videos. Thank you so much for this well thought out and understandable explanation about sugar, carbs, and insulin. Lately, I've been slowly gaining weight, and didn't understand why? My tolerance for sugar must have reached its limit over a long lifetime! I changed my diet. No more sugar, and I eat fewer carbs, and then only the right ones. I also do intermittent fasting, waiting 16 hours after dinner before my next meal. I stopped gaining weight, and I'm down 6 lbs. It's a great start. I thank you!
Such a great video at summarizing glucose and insulin resistance and how they’re impacted by what we eat! I had started a no-sugar May, and it wasn’t going very well, as I ended up eating sugar 5/2 and 5/3. Yesterday was my first sugar-free day, and this video is exactly what I needed! No matter how much I think I know on a specific health topic I always learn new information watching your videos. For example, I didn’t realize that muscles don’t require insulin to uptake glucose during ‘soft exercise’. I find this makes going for a walk after a meal even more motivating 😊
I shared this with my family. My fasting glucose number was in the 270s in November 2022. It's currently 122 as of last weekend. This low carb and intermittent fasting works. I eat around 11 am and 3 pm. I'm getting close.
